The following story proves it to be true.
Tim & I have been debating buying a nice camera for quite awhile. Tim is very thorough whilst I am very impatient. In a previous situation Tim took so long to decide that the price on the item went up considerably & I vowed to never let his slowness in decisions cost us twice. After weeks of nagging I set my foot down and demanded an answer. Here was his response:
“You suck at things like this! I was going to buy it and surprise you with it but you just couldn’t wait, could you?”
I felt awful. Perhaps I should pay more attention to old proverbs. Thankfully my husband loves me regardless of my nagging & still bought me the camera. 
I’m so excited!
And as if I weren’t spoiled enough, he also let me get this:
It comes with a camera case, & film! I found it on craigslist for $15!

your camera buying story sounds very much like mine. haha. I just mentioned yesterday how I wanted to get a polaroid camera and the fact that you just got one makes me very jealous!
